Awakenings
This March, the story night will feature stories of roots, of renewal, about remembering who you really are. Ursula has woken up to herself. She's recovered the tales of her murky Blackburn past - as daft and as heart-warmingly beautiful as they were when they were first muttered by the colourful ghosts of her childhood.
Our story nights always have time for storytellers 'from the floor', so if you have a special story you've been itching to tell, why not bring it along?
As usual, we'll be upstairs at the Adelphi pub.
The Marriage of Sir Gawain
Peter Findlay performs "The Marriage of Sir Gawain" - a tapestry of maidens, giants and very sharp axes in a story following the fortunes of King Arthur as he faces certain death...
The sessions are open to everyone, so bring along that story you have been wanting to tell or just come and listen.
4th November is Mischievous Night!
Just to let you know our next session will be on Tuesday 4th November. Since that night has been traditionally known as Mischief (or Mischievous) Night in Yorkshire, this month we'll be bringing mischievous stories to the Adelphi. Please bring yours or just come and listen.
