Storytelling Events
Here be Dragons
Stories around the theme of maps of treasure, unknown lands with terrible beasties. What happens beyond the known lands?
Check out our handy map for directions! (Although embarrassingly, the Grove Inn isn't mentioned. You'll find it here. Watch out for the ferocious giant newts of the Hol Beck.)
King David
This month we have the pleasure to present storyteller Richard Trouncer bringing to life the story of King David, one of the epics of ancient literature, in all its disturbing detail. A Tale of power, betrayal, passion and regret which asks difficult questions about our relationship to authourity.
As usual, there'll be also time for stories from the floor, so bring yours to share or just come and listen.
Open Floor Night
Faithful Tales
An irreverently reverent evening of stories and songs with Peter Findlay and Majk Stokes
Ring in the Spring!
It's the start of spring, the days are getting longer, and with any luck we'll have a bit o' sunshine to cheer up the world.
Our March event is an evening of performances 'from the floor' - your chance to tell us that story you've kept squirrelled away!
